(DTO) From May 25 to May 31, a delegation from Dong Thap Province, led by Mr. Phan Van Thang, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap Province, attended Thaifex Anuga Asia 2026 – Asia’s leading food and beverage trade fair, held in Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand.
The delegation also included leaders from the Departments of Agriculture and Environment, Science and Technology, Industry and Trade, and the Party Committee of Ngu Hiep Commune, along with several outstanding agricultural processing and export enterprises in the province seeking opportunities to explore the market, promote trade, and attract investment in Thailand.
At Thaifex Anuga Asia 2026, many enterprises from Dong Thap Province participated in product exhibitions and booth displays, including Tri Son Co., Ltd.; Nam Huy Dong Thap One Member Co., Ltd.; 123 Farm Co., Ltd.; and Viet Tin Food Import-Export Co., Ltd.
In addition, several major enterprises from the province also showcased and introduced their signature products, such as Sa Giang Import-Export Corporation, International Development and Investment Corporation (IDI), Hung Ca Co., Ltd., Tay Cat Co., Ltd., Bich Chi Food Joint Stock Company, Mekong Food Corporation, Toan Phat Agriculture and Food Co., Ltd., Thuan Phong Agricultural and Aquatic Products Processing Export Co., Ltd., and Blue Ocean Company.
Dong Thap’s products attracted considerable attention and received high appreciation from visiting partners for their diversity and product quality.
According to the plan, the Dong Thap provincial delegation will participate in trade promotion activities, business networking programs, market surveys, and seek cooperation opportunities in the fields of agricultural production, processing, and consumption with Thai enterprises and industry associations.
At the same time, the delegation will work with the Embassy of Vietnam in Thailand to exchange market information and expand international cooperation connections, thereby helping Dong Thap’s agricultural products penetrate more deeply into the global supply chain.
Within the framework of the business trip, the delegation will also attend thematic seminars at Thaifex Anuga Asia 2026, participate in the province’s joint exhibition booth to promote Dong Thap products, and visit several high-quality agricultural production models in Thailand.
Participation in Thaifex Anuga Asia 2026 is expected to help Dong Thap promote its local image, enhance the brand value of its agricultural products, stay updated on international market trends, and expand cooperation opportunities with foreign partners. It also provides an opportunity for local enterprises to access new technologies, gain experience in developing agricultural value chains, and promote export activities in the coming period.
