From the beginning of the year to the end of June 30, 2023, Mekong Group Corp has made strong efforts to enter the top 6 largest rice exporters to international markets. The business has a year-on-year growth of 351%.
The total export volume of Mekong in the first half of 2023 accounts for 5% of total rice volume exports of Vietnam. The company exports rice mainly to major markets respectively the Philippines, Africa countries. The business prioritizes the export of key types of rice such as 5% broken rice, DT8, OM5451 … which is favored for consumption in the markets of importing countries. In the upcoming short-term development plan, Mekong Group Corp aims to expand its market to China and some other Southeast Asian countries.
